Author note: The purpose of this piece is to tell about the cause and effect of the climax of the book” Just Jane” by William Lavender.
What if you had to move many times and having to start all over again and again ?
In the book “Just Jane” by William Lavender the main charter Jane does, After
just moving to America from England. Then having to move to Roswell just because, Her new guardian uncle Robert thought that where they lived wasn’t proper for a young English lady. Well that’s what the climax of the story is, in this story there are many important parts of the story that leads up to the climax. There are also important effects after the climax happens.
Although the climax of the story seems like there isn't much that caused it to happen. The reader could predict that something like that was going to happen. When the story started the first thing that leads up to the climax is when Jane finds out she has another uncle on page 7 “I have another uncle?” said by Jane she has a million questions about him so this caused her to be very curious about him. The resolution before the climax is when Jane begs her teacher to take her to her uncle’s Hughes house.”Just like you said I have a mind of my own I want to come with you” found on page 35 said by Jane she was trying to pressure her teacher to let her go with but, this lead up to the climax by her guardian finding out she disobeyed her most important rule, which caused the climax really happen.
Even though what caused the climax didn't seem so bad, it was the effects that followed after the climax once happened .Once Jane moved again
she had a lot of thoughts in her head just like she said on page 50"there are so many emotions and thoughts in my head swirling around."
Not only did it effect on what she thought but, her uncle became even more protective of her. Jane couldn't even leave the house without someone taking her hand like a little girl "I couldn't be outside without one of the servants" on page 78. It also affected her schooling now since she moved away her teacher was the
only person to let a girl in to study. He was the only one that understood what she was going through and knew she had a intelligent mind of her own. One last thing. Jane couldn't see all her family. Since she lives so far away, which was her uncle’s plan.
Finally every part of this novel involves around the climax. Even if it's just the effects about what happen after the climax of the story. As I said in the paragraph about the effects it's more important than the causes of the climax because whatever happened after the climax, is because of the climax it self. As you can see though there are many important parts of the story that leaded up to the climax and the importance of the cause and effects.
