Stalker

Authors note: This is a understanding of what the climax is and the purpose is to show that I understand what leads up to the climax .

Have you ever been stalked so badly that it scared you? In the book “Secret Admirer” by R’-LStine the main character is a actress in high school and has her own stalker. This story is a mystery and it shows what leads up to the climax very easy with a few steps. I will tell you what the climax of the story is and what made it in the next few paragraphs.


Although there was only a few steps to what lead up to the climax of the story. First thing that I most recognized was how the main character Selena found dead roses and a note in her locker. At first she thought it was a joke and kept repeating in her head “its still some kind of joke”. After that it effected on how Selena was acting. She was paranoid that even someone in a car behind her scared her. Selena thought it would be her “stalker” That’s what the main problem in the introduction of the story was.

Even though Selena kept being paranoid and kept finding those notes in her locker and now even packages at her house. She wanted to do the play I believe that the next thing that was getting closer to the climax which was the rising action was how Selena kept thinking that it was a joke no matter what she had to get the part of Juliet .Her friends told her different not to do the play. Notes where threaten her friends and her.so when she got roses with leaves of poison ivy Selena still figured it was some kind of joke even though she was highly allergic to poison ivy. Someone was trying to hurt her but she had no clue.


Although Selena had a allergic reaction and was at bed rest for a week she still wanted to do the play Romeo and Juliet without a doubt. All she could think about was getting a scholarship and going off to college leaving behind her family and close friends that’s when the climax happened everything led up to it. Selena found her close friend Jake dead in the school auditorium. She knew there was no turning back to what just happened. Reasoning why Selena found Jake dead was the climax of the story wasn’t just because you couldn’t bring him back but because she knew not only herself was in danger but her close friends to.She had no clue who was doing this. All Selena knew was it was her fault which made it the point of no return .The only way Selena would be able to find the stalker was to do the play and spot them out.


Basically since the climax was so easy to find out so was the rest of the story. I believed that this story was very interesting and had a great climax to it mostly because it was so easy to find along with the rising power and the introduction to the story. So now you know what the climax is and what leads up to it.
