Author note : This is to review the meaning of both poems


In both poems "Field Below" and big yellow taxi had basically the same mood and tone. In the first poem I read Big yellow taxi the mood was sad, sorrow and felt simplicity. The tone the piece had was heart broken because she realized she misses the nature. Same with the second poem I read Field Below has a mood of sorry and the tone is sad the same as the first poem.

Finally,after listening to both songs and re reading the poems I can compare and contrast the two.The first song I listened to was the first poem that I read . In "Big yellow Taxi "the music didn't match up to the poem because,it sounds happy and up beat I don't agree I think the singer should have introduced the tone differently like it is said in the poem.the next song I listened to was "Field Below" the song did match up with the poems mood and tone too
because it was soft and calming just like the poem it really pointed out the part when she sang ancient bruises it stood out and told the reader her point.This shows us how important it is to really express the way the poem is and I think that the first song should have had a different tempo and singer to express the song differently .
